    Man has life-threatening injuries after shooting in Richmond’s Northside

    RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — A man is in the hospital with life-threatening injuries after police say he was shot in Richmond’s Northside.

    According to the Richmond Police Department, officers responded to the 4900 block of Chamberlayne Avenue at around 3:38 p.m. on Friday, June 28 for a report of a person shot.

    When they got to the scene, the officers found a man inside a vehicle who had been shot. He was taken to a local hospital with injuries that are considered life-threatening.

    Anyone with information related to this shooting is asked to call Det. M. Ahnstrom of Richmond Police at 804-646-3913.
