Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - Richmond Police are looking for three suspects after they allegedly stole a car and intentionally crashed it into a Richmond storefront “several times in an attempt to break in.”

Just before 1 a.m. on Monday, July 1, officers were dispatched to North 8th Street for a report of a crash with property damage. Once at the scene, police found a Honda Accord that had crashed into the front of a business.

The suspects had fled the scene on foot before officers arrived.

Richmond Police said an investigation determined that the Accord had been reported stolen from an adjacent state. One of the suspects reportedly crashed the car into the store several times in an effort to gain entry.

Anyone with any information on this incident or the whereabouts of the suspects is asked to contact the Richmond Police Department at 804-646-6820.
