    More lane closures at Richmond intersection for traffic signal installation

    RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — More daily lane closures are coming to the intersection of Cary Street Road and Libbie Avenue in Richmond as a traffic installation project continues.

    According to the City of Richmond’s Department of Public Works, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday, July 8 and Tuesday, July 9, some travel lanes may be temporarily closed at this intersection to allow for scheduled work.

    A contractor will install mast arms around the intersection during work hours.

    Similar closures took place at this intersection on July 1 and 2 for the installation of mast arms.
