RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — According to Kendall Rogers of D1Baseball.com, Bradley LeCroy, the head coach of Virginia Commonwealth University’s (VCU) baseball team, is leaving Richmond to take over the baseball program at Liberty University.

LeCroy has spent the past two seasons leading the Rams to a 63-53 record overall and an impressive 38-23 mark in 2024. This past season, LeCroy led the Rams to an Atlantic 10 Tournament Championship and an NCAA Regional appearance.

LeCroy will take over a Flames team that finished the 2024 season 24-34. He takes over for Scott Jackson who resigned from the position last Thursday. Jackson coached the Flames for eight seasons posting a career record of 246-181.
