Fill your week with nostalgia and gratitude: honor the life and legacy of Richmond’s Stella Dikos and feast your eyes and ears on model railroad displays, Virginians’ vacation archives, the sounds of classic British hits, and a kids’ summer camp production of a favorite childhood book. In “What’s Booming RVA: Thanks, Stella.”

“James and the Giant Peach”

July 18, 7 p.m., at Perkinson Center, Chester

Drama from Roald Dahl’s book brought to life by the Perkinson Summer Theater Camp.

Trains, Trucks & Tractors at Keystone

July 20, 21, 27, and 28 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m, at the Keystone Truck & Tractor Museum, Petersburg

The 3-acre museum of restored tractors, trucks, and cars is adding 9,000 square feet of model trains, O HO & N scale, in elaborate train displays , rolling through mountains, cities, and countryside. Two trains include a display of Sailor Bob’s Griggs Valley Railroad and RICHBRICK LEGO CITY model railroad. The Richmond Freelance & Prototype Model Railroaders will be running these trains at the museum on Saturday and Sunday, July 20, 21, 27, and 28.

Pocahontas Premieres: The English Channel

July 20, 7 to 10 p.m., at Pocahontas State Park, Chesterfield

Music under the stars, with British hits of the mid-1960s and 1970s, faithfully re-created to sound like the original recording.

A Memorial for Stella

July 21, 4 to 7 p.m., at the Virginia Museum of History & Culture, Richmond

Honor the life and legacy of Stella Dikos, legendary Richmonder known for sharing Greek cuisine and hospitality with Richmonders.

Collections Up Close: Fun in the Sun – Virginians on Vacation

July 20, 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m., at the Virginia Museum of History & Culture, Richmond
