Virginia Brews craft beer festival coming to Virginia Museum of History & Culture in Richmond

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Enjoy craft brews from local breweries during Virginia Craft Beer Month at the sixth-annual Virginia Brews craft beer festival at the Virginia Museum of History & Culture.

The festival , scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 3, will showcase the work of over ten Virginia breweries. Eight three-ounce craft beer pours come with the ticket price — but attendees can also purchase additional pour tickets if desired.

Ticketholders will also be given access to the museum and its exhibitions, live music from Gravy Boat, food trucks and more. Attendees will also be given a commemorative tasting glass.

The participating breweries include:

• Big Ugly Brewing of Chesapeake
• Blue Toad Cidery of Nelson County
• Brainstorm Brewhouse of Richmond
• Caiseal Beer & Spirits of Hampton
• Capstan Bar Brewing Co. of Hampton
• Dancing Kilt Brewery of Chesterfield County
• Fine Creek Brewing Company of Powhatan County
• MoMac Brewing Co. of Portsmouth
• Nansemond Brewing Station of Suffolk
• Redbeard Brewing Company of Staunton
• Tradition Brewing Company of Newport News
• Wheatland Spring Brewery of Loudoun County

Food trucks at the site will include 1115 Mobile Kitchen and Cocina Calle.

The period for early bird tickets has ended. General admission to the event is $35 for museum members and $40 for non-members, with a $10 ticket option available to designated drivers.
