SUMMARY: On July 26, in Tupelo, Mississippi, police arrested 34-year-old Michael Shumaker after he created a disturbance outside the Toast Cocktail and Piano Bar while allegedly intoxicated. Shumaker was denied entry to the establishment and subsequently pointed a handgun at people in the parking lot. Officers quickly apprehended him and seized the firearm. He faces multiple charges, including Public Drunk, Disorderly Conduct, and Resisting Arrest, and was taken to the Lee County Jail. Witnesses reported the incident occurred around 11:00 p.m. during the night.
