Mary Tyler Moore's former Greenwich house sees $2 million price reduction
After hitting the market last September for $21.9 million, the former house of actor Mary Tyler Moore has taken another price cut this month. Last week, the price of home belonging to the "Ordinary People" actor was cut down by $2 million— down to $16.9 million, according to Zillow records. In April, the price of the property was cut by $3 million — down to $18.9 million at the time.

Four houses proposed at site of former Spring Hill Road animal rescue
MONROE, CT — Neighbors of the SPCA of Connecticut Animal Shelter railed against the facility at 359 Spring Hill Road when it first opened in the early 2000s, but the dog kennels were a grandfathered use. The owner, Frederick Acker, fought with town officials over the number of dogs allowed on the property over the years and, due to financial woes, the shelter closed down for good last year.

Also known as Gee Gee or Ginnie, Mrs. Flood (nee Bernene) was raised in Bedford. She was an administrative assistant to the president of Northern Westchester Hospital for 25 years and has also been a member of Twigs, served on the Board of the VNA of Hudson Valley, and was Secretary of the Heritage Hills Condo Board. Scores of bargain-hunters and local business supporters descended on downtown New Canaan on Saturday for the Chamber of Commerce’s annual Sidewalk Sale & Village Fair. WESTPORT — Old Dominion’s lead guitarist Brad Tursi steps into the hometown spotlight Oct. 12 with a stop on his solo “Parallel Love” tour at the Levitt Pavilion. Not many people publish their first book at age 96, but Muriel Fox has spent a lifetime working against outdated expectations, and she’s not stopping now. Her book, The Women’s Revolution: How We Changed Your Life, was released on June 18, and shortly beforehand the Westchester County Board of Legislators declared June 24 to be Muriel Fox Day, “thanking her for her crucial role in helping women gain equal rights so they could have the same opportunities as men.”
