19 Year Old Driver Goes off Purchase Street onto Sidewalk, Arrested for DWI
Rye PD made a DWI arrest after a 19 year old driver went off Purchase Street, onto the sidewalk and into the bushes. On Friday, July 19, 2024, at approximately 6:25pm, Rye Police Officers responded to the area of Purchase Street and Blind Brook Lane for a motor vehicle accident. Drunken Boater Arrested in Long Island Sound Crash That Injured 5
A boater who allegedly had one too many drinks was arrested late Friday night after careening into another boat in the Long Island Sound and injuring five. Rye police nabbed Gareth Ederer, 62, after receiving a distress call around 10 p.m. about a crash on the water just south of the Milton Harbor area.
