Fraud Charges in Ridgeway
Officials in Iowa County received a report of fraud on West Keane Street in Ridgeway Thursday around 11am. Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputies responded and subsequently arrested 23 year old Juan De Jesus Hernandez Reyes of Ridgeway on a Probation Violation. Hernandez Reyes was taken to the Iowa County Jail where he currently remains in custody.

A Senior Living Campus Could Be Coming To Dodgeville
More senior living and care could be coming to Dodgeville after the closing of a longtime facility back in 2022 created what seniors in Iowa County describe as a difficult situation, with limited options. Upland Hills Health, which operates hospitals in Dodgeville, Barneveld, Highland and Montfort announced plans to develop a senior living campus in Dodgeville, with 63 assisted living beds. It will include both one-assist and two-assist, or high needs care. Upland Hills Health will also transition the CrestRidge Assisted Living and memory care facility on Grace Street to a 40-bed memory care unit.

Emily Butler from the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation says a lot of people wrongfully assume the Taliesin compound in Spring Green is only about architecture.
