Classical Piano Concert at Ridgewood Library, July 7

RIDGEWOOD, NJ — Enjoy an afternoon of classical music at the Ridgewood Library, as they will host a piano concert for Bergen County resident Owen Smith on July 7 from 2 to 3 p.m. Seating is first come, first served. No registration required. Smith will perform pieces of Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, Schumann and Brahms.

Smith is 16 years old and an honor student at the Manhattan School of Music pre-college, lives in Demarest, where he attends Bergen Catholic High school. Smith started to play piano at 5 and has won prizes at several piano competitions, including the Piano Concerto Competition at Manhattan School of Music, the New York and New Jersey Piano teachers association and the International Grand Piano competition.
