RIDGEWOOD, NJ — Mere days before he competes with the United States fencing team at the 2024 Summer Games, young Olympian and Ridgewood high school alum Mitchell Saron is chronicling every step of his journey on his TikTok page.

In a fascinating look behind the curtain, the young sabre fencer details his diet and exercise regimen, the amenities and gifts afforded to Olympic athletes and some of the peculiarities of the Olympic Village, such as the cardboard beds athletes are provided with. Saron's work ethic, detailed in his sitdown interview with TAPinto Ridgewood earlier this year, shows the staggering level of dedication that has propelled Saron from Ridgewood to the grand stage of the stage of the 2024 Summer Games.
