The Hasbrouck Heights Public Library and Youth Services Librarian, Maureen Herman, welcomed ZoophoriaNJ, an organization focused on educating children about wildlife. ZoophoriaNJ offered a special wildlife program that combined art and animals. The program consisted of meeting and learning about four different animals, hearing about conservation efforts, and finally, making a “Bucket List Journal” to imagine all the places and animals you want to see in the future. HUDSON COUNTY, NJ – The Hudson County Sheriff’s Office will be cracking down on drivers impaired by alcohol or drugs on Thursday, July 25th, by conducting a DWI Checkpoint in the area of Kennedy Blvd and Manhattan Ave in Jersey City. An Elizabeth woman was arrested in Guttenberg for kicking a police officer after authorities responded to a call of her being an unwanted guest in a home.
