Hillside, N.J. based marine services provider Donjon Marine has been awarded a contract worth more than $19 million for harbor maintenance dredging in New York and New Jersey. New York forest rangers conduct nearly 20 rescues in one week
The New York State DEC responded to more than a dozen calls for help over the course of a week, most of which were in the Adirondacks. One call for a dehydrated hiker in Keene required assistance from a New York State Police helicopter. FBI raids NY home of Gov. Hochul’s former deputy chief of staff (report)
The Federal Bureau of Investigation has searched the New York home of a former aide to Gov. Kathy Hochul, according to The New York Times. FBI agents reportedly raided a $3.5 million house on Long Island where Linda Sun, Hochul’s former deputy chief of staff, lives with her husband. An FBI spokesman confirmed the “conducted court-authorized law enforcement activity” took place early Tuesday morning, but did not comment further.
