A footrace, a silent auction, interactive learning, a watershed talk, a Ute history presentation, a rubber ducky race, live music by the Cross-Eyed Possum, and, of course, the "Junk of the Unc" Race.
All those things and more will be happening Saturday, June 29 in Ridgway at the Ridgway RiverFest at Rollans Park.
"The highlight of the day is the infamous 'Junk of the Unc' race in which boaters maneuver their craft, constructed from scrap materials not intended for river travel, through whitewater rapids and others’ junk, trying to keep it all intact until the finish line," notes the website.
2:30 pm —Live music by The Cross-Eyed Possum on stage co-sponsored by Ouray County Performing Arts Guild
