Currant Creek Fire: Pre-evacuation orders put in place for multiple Redlands Mesa Road and Currant Creek residents
GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KJCT) - The Delta County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO) provided an update regarding the Currant Creek Fire that is east of Cedaredge near Redlands Mesa. As of 11:30 a.m. Sunday the fire continues to burn. Emergency personnel from the Cedaredge Fire Protection District, Hotchkiss Fire District, crews from the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), and other additional aviation assets were able to substantially curb fire growth Saturday evening.
