    Ingredients:

    • 3/4 cup honey
    • 1/3 cup soy sauce
    • 2 teaspoons of fresh ginger, grated
    • 3 tablespoons of minced garlic
    • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
    • 2 teaspoons of cornstarch
    • 1 1/2 pounds of large shrimp, peeled and deveined
    • 3 tablespoons of butter
    • 3 cups of chopped broccoli
    • 1 8-ounce can of sliced water chestnuts
    • 1 1/2 teaspoons of olive oil
    • Add fresh parsley and salt and pepper to taste.

    Directions:

    1. Using a small bowl, add your honey, soy sauce, fresh ginger, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes. Using a whisk, mix it all together.
    2. Remove 1/3 of the sauce and pour it over top of your shrimp. Allow to marinate for 20–30 minutes. Sprinkle your cornstarch into the remaining sauce.
    3. Add the olive oil to the skillet and heat it on high. Add your chopped broccoli, salt, and pepper. Cook the broccoli for 5–6 minutes until it becomes bite-tender, then set it aside.
    4. In the same skillet, add your butter and melt. Toss in your shrimp and cook for 2 minutes on both sides, until no longer pink. Pour in your reserved soy sauce, lower the stovetop, and allow the sauce to thicken.
    5. Add your broccoli and sliced water chestnuts, then gently toss with the sauce and shrimp. Heat back up to temperature and serve over jasmine rice, pasta, or rice noodles.

    Enjoy Friends! ❤️
