    Pro Tips:

    • Use fresh apple cider: This will give you the best flavor for your cake! Don't use apple juice, and for heaven's sake, don't use apple cider vinegar!
    • For easier mixing, make sure all of your ingredients are at room temp.
    • Generously grease and flour your bundt pan: don't forget to get in all those nooks and crannies.
    • Allow your cake to cool for 15-20 mins. prior to removing from the bundt pan.
    • Allow your butter to sit on your cake for about a minute, you want it just moist enough to hold onto your cinnamon sugar.

    Ingredients:

    • 1 box of dry cake mix. You can use yellow or spice. Both flavors are delicious. (I used Aldi Brand)
    • 1 C. of fresh apple cider (no apple juice and no apple cider vinegar!).
    • 1/2-3/4 tsp. ground cinnamon (depends on how much you like cinnamon!)
    • 1/2 C. chunky apple sauce
    • 3 lg. eggs
    • 1 tbsp. packed light brown sugar
    • 1 1/2 tsp. Pure vanilla extract
    • 2 tsp of ground cinnamon (for the topping)
    • 1/4 C. granulated sugar
    • 5 tbsp. melted unsalted butter

Bundt pan size: When making this I use a 10 cup size Bundt pan. If you use a 12 cup adjust the cooking time accordingly.

    Directions:

    • Warm the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Using a 10 cup Bundt pan generously grease and flour. Place to the side.
    • Using a stand mixer, add your 3 large eggs, apple cider, apple sauce, and dry cake mix. Mix until combined.
    • Next add your pure vanilla extract, brown sugar and 1/2 - 3/4 tsp. of ground cinnamon.
    • Pour into your prepared bundt pan.
    • Place in the oven and bake until an inserted toothpick comes out of the center clean or with a few crumbs on it. It should take around 40-45 minutes.
    • Remove from the oven and allow your cake to cool on a wire rack for about 10-15 minutes. Remove it from the Bundt pan and leave your cake on the wire cooling rack.
    • Melt your butter and brush it all over the top. Allow your butter to sit for about a minute while you mix your cinnamon and sugar. Then spread/sprinkle and dust your cinnamon sugar topping all over your cake. Don't forget the sides.

    Want to make Muffins?

It's easy just follow the above instructions, and instead of your Bundt pan, line your muffin tins with wrappers (or grease and flour, but that's a lot of work!). Fill you tins 3/4 full and bake for 12-15 minutes. Allow to cool, then remove your muffin tins and add your melted butter and cinnamon sugar over the top.

    Enjoy Friends! ❤️
