Believe it or not, the cake itself requires only two ingredients—yet it packs all the warm, cozy flavors of pumpkin spice that everyone loves. Ready in under an hour, this simple recipe is a lifesaver for busy days when you're short on time or energy but still crave something homemade and comforting.

    Because it’s so easy, this is also a fantastic recipe if you have little helpers in the kitchen. Kids will love to help mix the ingredients, making it a fun and relatively mess-free activity for all. Despite its simplicity, the result is a soft, moist pumpkin spice bread that tastes like it took much more effort! This recipe is perfect for a quick snack or a festive fall treat!

    This recipe is so easy, I almost feel silly sharing it! With just two ingredients, it’s hard to believe something so simple could taste this good. My kids devour this bread!

    If you are looking to elevate your pumpkin bread, here are some delicious additions you can try with two-ingredient pumpkin spice bread to bring it next level deliciousness:

    1. White Chocolate, Dark Chocolate or Cinnamon Chips – Fold in some chips for a burst of flavor.

    2. Confectioners' Sugar Dusting – Lightly dust the top with confectioners' sugar for a simple yet elegant finish.

    3. Confectioners' Sugar Glaze – Drizzle a sweet glaze made from confectioners' sugar and a bit of milk or water for added sweetness.

    4. Raw Sugar – Sprinkle raw sugar over the top before baking for a crunchy, caramelized crust.

    5. Nuts– Add texture and flavor by topping with pecans, walnuts, or even pumpkin seeds.

    Prep Time: 5 mins; Cook Time: 45 mins; Total Time: 50 mins

    Ingredients:

    • 1 box (15.25 oz) of Dunkin Hines Spice Cake
    • 1-15 ounce can of 100% pure pumpkin puree

    Directions:

    Warm your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

    Using non-stick cooking spray, lightly spray your loaf pan. Once greased, add some parchement paper and lightly spray again. When lining your loaf pan, line the bottom as well as your two long sides.

    In a medium sized bowl, add your spice cake mix and your can of pumpkin. Stir to combine. Don't be alarmed; the batter will be very thick. If you are adding any additions, such as chocolate chips or nuts, then add them now. Keep in mind that you do not want to add any of the ingredients listed in the cake instructions.

    Spoon your batter into your prepared loaf pan, smooth the top with the back of your spoon. Tip: Spray the back of your spoon with nonstick spray to make it easier to spread. I like to sprinkle coarse sugar on top.

    Place your bread into the oven and bake for approximately 45 minutes. Use a toothpick to check your bread; if it comes out clean, it's ready.
