Irresistible Cheesy Chicken Stuffed Crescent Rolls: The Ultimate Comfort Food Everyone Will Love
7 hours ago
If you're looking for a quick, easy, and delicious recipe, Cheesy Chicken Stuffed Crescent Rolls are the perfect solution! These little gems are incredibly simple to make and bursting with flavor. Each roll is stuffed with seasoned chicken and melty cheese, wrapped up in buttery, flaky crescent rolls. Whether you serve them as a weeknight dinner, a tasty snack, or a dish to pass at a tailgating or Halloween party, these bites will be the first to disappear! They’re sure to be a hit with family and friends, offering a savory cheesey experience that’s irresistible.
Pro Tips:
- Save time with rotisserie chicken: Using pre-cooked rotisserie chicken is a great shortcut that cuts down on prep time while still delivering juicy, flavorful filling.
- Soften your cream cheese: Make sure your cream cheese is softened to ensure it blends easily with the other ingredients, giving your filling a smooth, creamy texture.
- Top with fresh Parmesan: For extra flavor, brush the crescent rolls with melted butter and sprinkle fresh Parmesan cheese on top before baking. It adds a deliciously savory and slightly crispy layer.
- Customize to your taste: These rolls are easy to modify! Add sautéed diced veggies, crispy bacon, or swap out the cheese for something like pepper jack or gouda for a unique twist.
- Seal the edges well: To avoid cheese leakage, pinch the seams of the crescent rolls securely before baking.
Ingredients:
2 packages crescent roll dough
4 cups shredded chicken (I like to use rotisserie)
8 oz. package of cream cheese softened
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1/3 cup sour cream
1/3 cup chopped green onions
1 dry packet of ranch dressing mix
Melted butter, freshly grated Parmesan cheese, and chopped fresh parsley (optional but highly recommended)
Directions:
Warm your oven to 375° Fahrenheit. Using parchment paper, line two cookie sheets.
In a medium sized bowl, add in your shredded chicken, cheddar cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, cream cheese, green onions, and the dry ranch dressing mix. Stir to combine all your ingredients.
Pop your can of crescent rolls and unroll the dough. Carefully separate into triangles.
Using a spoon, scoop up your chicken and cheese mixture and place it on the wide end of the triangle. Once you have your filling in place, gently roll it up.
Add your stuffed crescent rolls to your prepared cookie sheets.
Brush with melted butter and grate some fresh Parmesan cheese over the top.
Place in your preheated oven and bake until golden brown, approximately 14-16 minutes.
Remove from the oven and serve warm, with some chopped parsley on top.
