This tastes like fresh apple crumble or cobbler! You can substitute fresh apples and anything else you like, but take note this will affect your cooking times, and you'll need way more ingredients. This specific recipe is the easiest, quickest way to warm apple cobbler, so things like canned apple pie filling and pre-made strussel mix are used.

    Three-Ingredient Crock Pot Apple Cobbler

    Pro Tips:

Make sure you purchase the cinnamon strussel muffin or cake mix that has the cinnamon strussel included in the box. Also, make sure to distribute the muffin mix evenly over the fruit when you add it to the slow cooker.

Dice half a cup, or one stick, of butter into small pieces. Sprinkle those on top of the cake or muffin mix equally.

Put the lid on the slow cooker and cook for three to four hours on HIGH. Don't go past four hours. When the cake or muffin mix on top is cooked through, it's done.

Before serving, allow the cobbler to cool slightly, as that apple filling will be extremely hot.

    Directions:

    • Add cans of apple pie filling to your slow cooker.
    • Add the muffin or cake mix next, making sure you sprinkle it on evenly over the fruit.
    • Sprinkle the strudle or crumble mix included in your box on top of the mix.
    • Dice the butter into small pieces and sprinkle it equally over the top of all that.
    • Cook, covered, for three to four hours on HIGH. When the cake mix is thoroughly baked, the cobbler is finished.
    • Let cool slightly before serving, as the apple pie filling will be HOT.
    • Serve with fresh whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
