Rochester Man Sentenced to 20 Years for Methamphetamine Trafficking After Early Release
A Rochester man, previously released early from prison, has been handed a significant sentence for trafficking methamphetamine. Panh Thavong, 51, will now face 20 years in federal prison, followed by five years of supervised release for his role in a drug distribution conspiracy. This sentence was handed down on August 23, by U.S. District Judge Eric C. Tostrud, according to a press release from the U.S. Attorney's Office, District of Minnesota.
