    5 Famous Movies That Were Filmed In Kent

    Kent has some of the most beautiful scenery and locations for filming. Dozens of movies, however, have been filmed around the country. We shall be looking at five of the films that were filmed in Kent.

    1. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 (Released in 2010)

    Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 is the penultimate movie from the eight movie franchise. It was directed by David Yates and distributed by Warner Bros.

    The power of Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes) is increasing. He now commands the Ministry of Magic as well as Hogwarts. When it comes to fighting the Dark Lord, Harry, Ron, and Hermione all join forces to accomplish Dumbledore's work and locate the remaining Horcruxes. In addition, for everyone else in the Wizarding World, anything they do must be well-planned and executed.

    2. Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015)

    Avengers: Age of Ultron is a Marvel superhero film based on the comic Avengers.

    Things go wrong when Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) reactivates a dormant peacekeeping program, compelling him, Thor (Chris Hemsworth), The Incredible Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), and the rest of the Avengers to regroup. The crew is pushed to the ultimate test as they confront Ultron, a technological monstrosity hell-bent on human destruction, as the fate of Earth hangs in the balance. Along the road, they meet Pietro and Wanda Maximoff, two strange and formidable newcomers.

    3. Wonder Woman (2017)

    Wonder Woman is an American superhero movie based on the characters of the comic of the same name. The movie was directed by Patty Jenkins.

    Diana, the Amazon princess, was raised to be an unstoppable warrior. Diana was raised on a secluded island paradise, but when a plane crashes on their shores and informs them of a great conflict raging in the outer world, she flees, confident she can halt the threat. Diana will realize her full powers and true destiny while fighting with a man in the war to end all conflicts.

    4. Sherlock Holmes (2009)

    Sherlock Holmes is a period mystery action film based on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's character of the same name. It was directed by Guy Ritchie.

    When a series of gruesome murders terrorizes London, famed detective Sherlock Holmes (Robert Downey Jr.) and his crime-solving companion, Dr. Watson (Jude Law), are quick to track down the perpetrator, Lord Blackwood (Mark Strong). Blackwood, a practitioner of the black arts, has a larger plan in mind, and his execution fits right into it. When Blackwood appears to resurrect from the dead, Holmes and Watson are thrown into a realm of occultism and odd inventions.

    5. Les Misérables (2012)

    Les Misérables is an epic period musical that was directed by Tom Hooper.

    Jean Valjean (Hugh Jackman) is set free after 19 years in jail by Javert (Russell Crowe), the prison official in charge. Valjean immediately violates his parole but subsequently uses stolen silver money to rebrand himself as a mayor and factory owner. Javert swears to return Valjean to prison. After the death of Cosette's mother (Anne Hathaway) eight years later, Valjean becomes the guardian of the girl, but Javert's unrelenting pursuit means that peace will take a long time to arrive.
