    Alabama is located in the southeast region of the United States. The state is known for its natural, iron, and steel resources. It is famous for the hospitality of its residents. However, some cities are not worth living in and are counted as the state's most dangerous cities. These are following

    1-Fairfield

    Even though Fairfield city is called a gateway to natural beauty, it still ranks at the top of the most dangerous cities of Alabama. According to FBI statistics, the city shares a definite crime rate 219% greater than the Alabama average and 308% greater than the national average. Therefore, 1 in 60 people has a chance of being subjected to violent crimes like murder, rapes, robbery, etc.

    2-Anniston

    Second on the list is Anniston, a county seat n Calhan county which is the attraction for the unique blend of history, culture, traditions, and adventures. However, the property crimes in the city rank at the first number. According to the statistics, 1 in 12.7 has a chance to be the victim of property crime.

    3-Lanett

    Lanett is a tourism house, but despite all the fun and adventurous life, the city is listed on the third among Alabama's nine most dangerous cities. The crime rate of the city is 3 times greater than in the US. Since 2016, violent crime has increased in the city as compared to property crimes.

    4-Birmingham

    Birmingham is called “The Magic City” due to its rapid growth of steel and iron industries. However, the city ranks the fourth most dangerous city in Alabama, with a crime count of 1 in 15.8 robbed residents.

    5-Tarrant

    Tarrant, a city in Jefferson county, is well known for Alabama`s friendly community. However, it is fifth on the list of most dangerous cities. Here 1 in 56 residents has a chance of being attacked, murdered, raped each year. Moreover, the property crime of the city is 1 in 16.8 residents per year.

    6-Gadsden

    Gadsden is a small city centered on the Coosa River. This seemingly peaceful city, however, ranks 6 in the most dangerous cities of Alabama. In addition, the city's crime rate is higher regarding property crimes, which is 1 in 14.5 residents.

    7-Troy

    The Troy City of Pike County has a beautiful and vibrant downtown of antique shops, restaurants, and local museums. Nevertheless, the city ranks 7th in the most dangerous cities of Alabama. It shares the 14th highest property crime rate in Alabama.

    8-Andalusia

    In the 8th is Andalusia city where residents have 1 in 18.7 of property crime and 1 in 106 to violent crime.

    9-Greenville

    In the 9th is the Greenville City of Butler County which shared a dramatic increase in crime rate. Reportedly the residents have a 1 in 22.1 chance of becoming victims of property crime. Since 2018 the violent crime has also been on the increase in the city.
