    New Hampshire state popularly referred to as the granite state is filled with a lot of beautiful places to call home. Despite some of the violent crimes that occur in some cities in New Hampshire, it was still ranked as one of the best states to live in the United States of America.

    The cost of living in New Hampshire like any other top-notch state is on the high side. New Hampshire also boasts of a buoyant economy and its primitive wilderness. New Hampshire is one of the states in America which offers the best quality of life to its residents but this is not the case all around as some cities in New Hampshire are nothing to write home about. Some of these dangerous cities that draw New Hampshire back are.

    1. Rochester

    Rochester is a medium-sized city with a high population of persons. Rochester is one of the biggest cities in the state of New Hampshire in terms of population and landmass. Rochester is sometimes referred to as the lilac city. The high poverty rate and high unemployment rate in Rochester have made it a den for criminals. Rochester is number one when it comes to crimes in the state of New Hampshire. Residents of Rochester have a 1 in 30 chance of falling into the hands of violent criminals.

    2. Laconia

    Laconia is one of those cities that give you the small-town feeling. Laconia is popularly known for being the home of the oldest national motorcycle rally. Not all parts of Laconia are consumed with violent crimes but the downtown part of Laconia makes it worthy of the second position on this list. Residents in Laconia have a 1 in 410 chance of falling into the hands of violent criminals.

    3. Manchester

    There is no city in New Hampshire more populated than Manchester. Manchester suffers from a lot of issues ranging from lack of employment to underfunded high school which has in one way or the other contributed to making this big city one of the most dangerous cities in New Hampshire. The crime rate in Manchester is so high that 1 out of every 25 of the cities resident is a victim of violent or property crime.     Claremont is one of the smallest cities in New Hampshire which offers little or no outdoor activities. The city of Claremont is so ravished with poverty that the majority of the residents are struggling to live below the United States standard of living. Crime in Claremont has seen an uptrend for the past couple of years.

    5. Belmont

    Belmont like any other small city is quite boring but here is the thing unlike other small cities Belmont has seen an increase in the number of violent crimes as if that is not enough problem, Belmont is also rumored to be a city with a drug problem.
