    Washington State has exquisite parks that have well-maintained camping grounds. Before getting the camping experience at night, you can take walks, hikes, swim, or fish during the day. Ensure you check the park’s official site to make reservations and access the guidelines ahead of your camping visit.

    Cougar Rock Campground, Mount Rainier National Park

    It is at Ashford, WA 98304, and has over 170 campsites that you can reserve. Although the campsites are near each other, the Douglas firs and western hemlocks create some privacy. There are flushing toilets and water available.

    It is very close to Paradise, where you can enjoy the scenic views of Mount Rainier glaciers. You can also hike on the trails available, like the Skyline trail.

    Lake Wenatchee State Park Campground, Leavenworth

    Besides camping and fishing, you can also hike, horse ride, and bike on this park’s many trails. It is fantastic for fishing, snowshoeing, non-motorized boating, swimming, Cross-country skiing, and paddle boarders. Lake Wenatchee State Park has over 150 campsites are accommodating RVs and tents.

    It is at Leavenworth, WA 98826, has warming shelters and heated restrooms during the winter.

    Salt Creek Recreation Area

    Salt Creek has two campgrounds with over 90 sites available all year round with flushing toilets and running water. You can access the Pacific Northwest shoreline as it is a short walk from the campground.

    It is at Tongue Point Marine Life Sanctuary, 3506 Camp Hayden Rd, Port Angeles, WA 98363. The amenities provided are horseshoe pits, a basketball court, first-day use picnic tables with fire pits and benches, volleyball courts, playground, and sand.

    Cranberry Lake Campground, Deception Pass State Park

    Cranberry Lake Campground has over 300 campsites spread throughout the park. You can find campsites at Fidalgo Island, Bowman Bay, and Cranberry Lake Campground. The Civilian Conservation Corps Interpretive Center is where visitors go to get more information about the park.

    It is at 41229 State Rte 20, Oak Harbor, WA 98277.

    Sol Duc Campground, Olympic National Park

    Olympic National Park has a couple of campgrounds, but Sol Duc Campground is the best. It has hot springs, access to a waterfall, and is at the center of the Parks wilderness. It has over 80 tent sites and 17 spaces for RVs. You can enjoy the walking/hiking trails to the Sol Duc Falls. During the summer, we recommend you book a reservation as the campground is always full.

    It is at 12076 Sol Duc-Hot Springs Rd, Port Angeles, WA 98363. Amenities available are trash, picnic table, firewood available, drinking water

    electric hookups, toilets, and alcohol.
