Indianapolis, In. – IBJ Media the producers of The Indianapolis Business Journal, Inside Indiana Business and Indiana Lawyer have named three Wabash Valley residents to their third annual Business and Community Leaders top 250 list. The list represents public and private companies, law firms, universities, not-for-profits, government and community organizations. Driver Arrested After Leaving The Scene Of An Accident With A UTV.
Terre Haute, In. A Rosedale man is facing charges after he fled the scene of an accident last week. Around 1:30 last Wednesday 47-year-old Jerry Mills II, of Rosedale, allegedly hit a utility task vehicle which is a larger ATV forcing it to swerve and crash into mowing equipment that was cutting grass. The driver was thrown from the UTV and hit by another vehicle. Witness said that Mill stopped briefly then took off. After reviewing surveillance camera video and talking with witnesses the Police identified Mills as the suspect. Police arrested Mill Friday. He faces charges of Leaving the scene of an accident resulting in serious bodily injury, driving while suspended resulting in injury, operating a vehicle without ever receiving a license and operating a motor vehicle without financial responsibility with a prior conviction. The driver of the UTV is in the hospital in Indianapolis.
