Driver Arrested After Leaving The Scene Of An Accident With A UTV.
Terre Haute, In. A Rosedale man is facing charges after he fled the scene of an accident last week. Around 1:30 last Wednesday 47-year-old Jerry Mills II, of Rosedale, allegedly hit a utility task vehicle which is a larger ATV forcing it to swerve and crash into mowing equipment that was cutting grass. The driver was thrown from the UTV and hit by another vehicle. Witness said that Mill stopped briefly then took off. After reviewing surveillance camera video and talking with witnesses the Police identified Mills as the suspect. Police arrested Mill Friday. He faces charges of Leaving the scene of an accident resulting in serious bodily injury, driving while suspended resulting in injury, operating a vehicle without ever receiving a license and operating a motor vehicle without financial responsibility with a prior conviction. The driver of the UTV is in the hospital in Indianapolis.

The 2024 Summer Pacers residency in Las Vegas came to a perhaps merciful end on Saturday after they managed to win just one of their five games in the NBA Summer League. They were one of just six teams in the event to win one game or fewer with three squads going winless. They committed more turnovers − a gruesome 21.6 per game − than any other team in the event and also committed the third most fouls with 23.4 per game.
