Savannah Police Investigate Fatal Shooting of 21-Year-Old on Shawnee Street
Savannah Police Detectives are investigating a homicide that occurred on July 23 in the 1000 block of Shawnee Street, resulting in the death of one adult victim. At approximately 6:00 p.m., officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 1000 block of Shawnee Street. Upon arrival, they found Xavier Hoffman, 21, suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite life-saving efforts, Hoffman was pronounced dead at the scene.
