1 killed in Werner Park shooting; 1 arrested
SHREVEPORT, La. – Shreveport police have made an arrest in connection with a fatal shooting late Monday in Shreveport's Werner Park neighborhood. Officers responded to a shots fired call at Westover and Velva streets just before midnight. Two men allegedly opened fire on a group of people then they started chasing the gunmen. One person was hit by the gunfire.
