With the 2024 Paris Olympics here, these are 10 pro wrestlers who should have gone for gold, from Shayna Baszler to Braun Strowman!

    10. Shayna Baszler

Right out of the chute, we go with Baszler (I mean, it’s in the title). Baszler is an accomplished mixed martial artist and an even better pro wrestler. I do feel like this Superstar could have found an Olympic sport to make a go of it.

    9. Bianca Belair

The former champion came to WWE with a very nice amateur resume. Belair ran track at the University of Tennessee. Anyone want to harbor a guess as to where I think we’d find her in any Olympics trial? Her path wasn’t to the Olympic podium, however. Instead, she brought her athletic talents to WWE, and I think it’s worked out quite well for her.

    8. Baron Corbin

This is more of a fun one. Baron Corbin has had an interesting run in WWE, from NXT to the main roster. And then back to NXT and now back on the main roster. He’s held gold. He’s won briefcases. But, he’s still not much more than an established mid card talent. But, he did have a Gold Gloves amateur boxing career. What if the former Happy Corbin had tried to become an Olympic boxer?

    7. Big E

The former WWE Champion is sidelined, maybe permanently , due to a severe neck injury. But, let’s pretend for a moment that the neck is fine (maybe lets travel back in time, too). Big E has been a really fun Superstar, but he has other talents too. Specifically, he’s a strong man, thanks to weight lifting. If Mark Henry could take a shot at Olympic gold in that discipline, why not Big E too?

    6. Tiffany Stratton

The newest name on this list was an easy choice. Stratton has an extensive gymnastics background prior to transitioning into a WWE Superstar. She would tower over her peers, and if the competition got a bit fierce? She could drop them with one of her World’s Prettiest Moonsaults.

    5. Brock Lesnar

The Beast Incarnate has done well in the amateur ranks. His exploits in WWE are well known. And despite a short career there, he had a dominant run in UFC as well. Understanding how good he was as an amateur, could you imagine Lesnar wreaking havoc at the Olympics?

    4. Charlotte Flair

She may go down as the greatest female Superstar of all time-but some will surely challenge her. As with many others, Charlotte was a talented athlete in her own right, long before coming into a WWE ring. Flair is tall and strong, and she made a name for herself in volleyball in high school and college. Could you imagine her taunt after delivering a big spike?

    3. Shelton Benjamin

Talk about being a ranked NCAA Champion wrester, who even trained with Brock Lesnar during the time before his WWE main roster run. Shelton Benjamin can wrestle any of the best and win, regardless of his age. I wonder if he would move away from pro wrestling and focus on training up-and-coming Olympic hopefuls.

    2. John Cena

If you ask The Big Show (Paul Wight), John Cena is the strongest wrestler in WWE. He placed him above Brock Lesnar and Mark Henry . His reasoning, Cena can pick anyone up with ease. He is a workhorse, no matter what he is doing. Clearly, he could have taken part in weight lifting. Might not be a favorite to win a medal, but would still be impressive.

    1. Braun Strowman

As promised from the start, we close this out with Braun Strowman . The Monster of all Monsters came to WWE from his time as a strongman and power lifter, so he could join Big E and Mark Henry in that arena.

So, what other pro wrestlers do you think should have competed for gold at the Olympics?
