Booker T On Bret Hart Calling Him Unsafe In The Ring: ‘It Ain’t Ballet’

After Bret Hart called Booker T unsafe in the ring, the five time world heavyweight champion from WCW is now firing back.

Bret Hart is known for many things. He is a decorated champion from WWE, who also competed in WCW . Plus, some consider him one of the best inside the ring. Therefore, he excepts the same from his fellow wrestlers. He might get that most of the time, but not always. In particular, Hart has criticized Goldberg for ending his career because he was not careful inside the ring.

The bashing of Goldberg is nothing new. Other wrestlers had words too, with Bret repeatedly going after Goldberg . Although, he then noted how the scissors kick from Booker T is dangerous. After two or three times taking the spot in WCW, Hart requested to it be stopped. Basically, his issue with the bump was needing to go head-first into the cannas.

Booker T Responded To Bret Hart Criticism

Well, Booker T heard the comments and responded on the Hall of Fame podcast . “I think Bret was just being sarcastic,” said Booker T. “Me and Bret had great chemistry. We had a great time. I know it was a highlight of my career. I don’t remember ever hurting Bret Hart. But, I have nothing but praise for ‘The Hitman.’ It ain’t ballet. I’m not gonna sit here and try to justify me whacking Bret Hart. If I whacked him, I whacked him. But, it was for the business.”

I can see Bret taking issue with Goldberg. He was the one who kicked him into forced retirement. Calling Booker T dangerous as well is strange. Few people have negative words about Booker T. So, is Bret Hart or Booker T correct in this situation?
