Bobby Lashley Had A Better Connection With Vince McMahon Compared To Triple H Before WWE Departure

Now that he is no longer with WWE, Bobby Lashley reveals he had a better connection with Vince McMahon compared to Triple H.

Bobby Lashley’s second WWE concluded with little fanfare. His contract expired earlier in the month and it was not renewed . Honestly, it sounds like WWE did not even try to keep the former multi-time champion around. We have heard AEW is interested in bringing him in and probably so are other pro wrestling promotions. Also, he could return to MMA or dabble in boxing.

While on The Bo and Them Show , Lashley went over his departure and revealed he had a better connection with Vince McMahon than Triple H. “I had a connection with Vince,” said Lashley. “Vince understood me. He looked at people that were stars and he saw that in me. I like Vince. I haven’t really had too much of a connection with Hunter. Hunter has his guys. I’ve tried to, but we haven’t really worked enough together to get to know each other. When Vince was here, I had more conversations with him. I don’t know what anybody does in their personal life. And where I work, that’s what I concentrate on.”

Bobby Lashley Likely Never Working With Vince McMahon Again

Of course, Vince resigned from WWE in disgrace . He has been accused of sexual harassment, sexual assault and human trafficking. Basically, he will never return to WWE and has been blacklisted from the business. In his place, Triple H has been producing some great TV. Also, the company continues to bring premium live events to countries outside of the United States.

As for Lashley, a run in AEW alongside MVP and Shelton Benjamin seems possible. If AEW signs all three, look for The Hurt Business to return with a different name. At 48 years old, time is not on Lashley’s side. Although, with such a decorated background, he might be able to secure a lucrative deal with AEW. So, did Vince McMahon see something in Bobby Lashley that Triple H missed?
