CM Punk Wants World Heavyweight Champion Gunther After WWE Bash In Berlin

We are barely done with WWE Bash In Berlin as CM Punk declares he is coming for World Heavyweight Champion, Gunther.

WWE went to Germany for the first-ever Bash In Berlin card. CM Punk toppled Drew McIntyre in a Strap Match and Gunther made Randy Orton pass-out in the main event to remain World Heavyweight Champion. As for what is next, Punk is already thinking about gold. Before the main event even began, Cathy Kelly caught-up with Punk. He was vocal about getting a title shot.

“I’m very interested in the results of Gunther versus Randy Orton,” said CM Punk to Kelly . “Some like to say may the best man win. But, in this case, may the best man win, because the better man is coming for you. I want the gold.”

CM Punk Has Unfinished Business Before Wrestling Gunther

As we noted, Gunther used a choke to defeat Orton. The win continues to see Gunther be heavily pushed by WWE as the future. He even got the approval of Orton, who shook his hand after the bell. Punk’s win marks his first singles victory in WWE after a decade. He returned about 10 months ago and instantly was put in the title picture. An injury at the Royal Rumble caused WWE to change a bunch of plans.

Personally, I think Gunther is done with Orton. Although, the same cannot be said for Punk and McIntyre. Those two really dislike each other and the feud is even at one a piece. They need to wrestle in at least the trilogy before moving to new things. Maybe, Punk wins the the Royal Rumble and challenges Gunther at WrestleMania 41 . Remember, Punk is only back because he wants a main event slot at WrestleMania before officially retiring. So, do you want to see CM Punk vs Gunther?
