Drew McIntyre Reveals Worst Moment Of His Pro Wrestling Career And It Involves A Huge Name

For Drew McIntyre, his worst moment in pro wrestling was not too long ago and we are learning it involved a huge name in sports.

Drew McIntyre has become a veteran of the WWE roster. His first run went about seven years. Basically, he was presented as the future and fans did not agree. He was demoted to the bottom of the roster before being released. “The Scottish Warrior” traveled the world, crafting his skills, before returning in 2017. Since then, he remains a main event superstar.

In 2022, WWE headed to Wales for the first Clash At The Castle show. The main event saw Roman Reigns remain champion over McIntyre. There was a ton of outside interence, including Austin Theory. Before the Money in the Bank holder could cash-in, Tyson Fury dropped him with one punch.

During an interview on Insight with Chris Van Vliet , McIntyre revealed that moment was the worst of his career. “The thing with Tyson Fury, that was stupid,” said McIntyre. “There’s no excuse for that. That’s the worst moment in my entire career. You look at certain moments, and in the moment when you’re living them, you’re like, this is ridiculous. We should have found a way out of this. [Austin] Theory could have cashed in, and I could have pinned him, because we had to protect The Bloodline and Roman at that time.”

While not the best moment in WWE , McIntyre is doing much better now. He was briefly World Heavyweight Champion for five minutes and has been feuding with CM Punk . If they are not done, it should conclude shortly. As for Fury, he will look to bounce-back from his first loss. So, do we agree that was the worst moment for Drew McIntyre ?
