In a matter of weeks, the NXT branding will look very different. They are leaving the USA Network and joining The CW Network. At the same time, RAW and SmackDown are undergoing changes. RAW will soon be two hours on the USA Network as then they head to Netflix in January. Not the details are out, but we are hearing they will insert commercials. SmackDown just finished on the FOX Network and they are now officially on the USA Network. We are seeing the changes continue with new leadership in WWE .

Now, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select noted how WWE is leaving Florida’s Performance Center for their weekly show. Remember, this is like the second installment of NXT. Initially, it grew a huge base of fans by brining in known names from the Indy scene. Eventually, WWE opted to change everything. A major difference was the wrestlers featured had little work outside of WWE. Basically, WWE is creating homegrown talent for the future. It was a rough start, but NXT has improved dramatically and there is a case they can topple AEW .

Now, WWE does run a risk with shows from different venues. That is a lot more traveling and selling-out buildings is not easy. For example, the small AEW crowds have been a hinder. Hopefully, NXT can avoid the same mistake. So, does a weekly venue change for NXT mean bigger numbers on The CW Network?
