There have been many rumors about what WWE and Bray Wyatt had planned for his character before his untimely passing. On Thursday a new piece of intel was revealed about a long-time star from TNA Wrestling working with the man once known as “The Fiend.”

The professional wrestling business has unfortunately seen many talented performers die in the middle of memorable careers. One of the most recent that hit a generation of fans hard was the tragic passing of former WWE World Champion Bray Wyatt.

After shockingly being released by the company in 2021 following a memorable run, the leader of the Wyatt Family made his triumphant return a year later. However, a bout with COVID and other preexisting health issues led to his heartbreaking demise in 2023 at 36.

Before his passing, there had been various reports about plans to form a faction with his brother Bo Dallas. And fans got a taste of that in 2023 with the introduction of Dallas’ Uncle Howdy character. The group made its debut this year in tribute to its founder.

Before the Wyatt Sick6 showed up on WWE television there were rumors that stars like Alexa Bliss and Braun Strowman could be a part of the group. As well as familiar names like Nikki Cross and Erick Rowan. The latter pair did end up in the group. TNA Wrestling great Eric Young was also linked to the faction after being re-signed in 2023.

This week, the fan-favorite performer and former leader of Sanity confirmed he was a part of early Wyatt Sick6 plans during an interview with Chris VanVliet .

“I was proposed a gimmick to work there with two guys and was super excited about it. Then that didn’t happen, and one of them was Bray. And then Bray passed away, which sucked and is unfair in every way possible,” Young said [h/t Inside the Ropes ].” … I think the original idea was me, Bray, and Bo as a trio. That’s what was told to me from [Paul “Triple H” Levesque].

“Obviously, I’m gonna jump at that. I’m friends with both of those guys. It would have been creatively just an unbelievable opportunity working there, working on the main roster, wrestling all over the world with two guys that I get along with well, and a huge part of the show at that point… Being part of that was very appetizing. It’s kind of not in my wheelhouse, but close enough where I would have really enjoyed it. It would have been challenging but in a really cool way,” he added.

Young eventually left WWE not long after Bray Wyatt’s passing due to his disinterest in working for company founder Vince McMahon .
