Jade Cargill Claims AEW Put Her TV Without Direction

Even though she is with WWE, fans still ask Jade Cargill a ton of questions about AEW and she is critical of how she was treated on TV.

It seems hard to imagine, but WWE passed on Jade Cargill several years ago. As a result, she joined AEW and was heavily featured. She went on an undefeated streak that surpassed 50 wins and saw her become the TBS Women’s Champion. Cargill held that belt for over 500 days before dropping it. Then, after two defeats, she opte d to leave for WWE.

Now, we are seeing what Cargill is made of without AEW. So far, she clearly she needs work. Teaming with Bianca Belair is a good addition. Neither have a decade of experience, hence working together is a good combo. Let Jade make mistakes and Bianca can be there for guidance. They both grow as a unit.

Jade Cargill Criticizes AEW

Since leaving AEW, fans have a tons of questions. While talking to HOT 97 , Cargill went over the difficulty of being featured prominently without the experience. “I would say that being thrown on TV without any direction was challenging,” said Cargill. “I didn’t really know how a heel was supposed to act and I just tried to be myself. Then, I had people giving me all kinds of directions, and it felt overwhelming. I would say finding your tribe is one of the hardest things because everybody wants to help you, but you don’t want to offend anyone. You want to do the best you can for the company and for yourself.”

She continued how Cody Rhodes and CM Punk have been a major help. 2024 has seen Jade debut and win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion on two occasions. Clearly, WWE sees the potential and they are trying to fix what AEW made. You have to wonder if Jade Cargill would be positioned the way she is if not for AEW?
