    One arrested after shooting in Ringtown

    RINGTOWN BOROUGH, SCHUYLKILL COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — One man is in police custody after their alleged involvement in a shooting that took place in Schuylkill County Sunday night.

    Police say the incident happened around 7:00 p.m. when an unnamed 51-year-old female victim was shot in the leg.

    According to a release from Pennsylvania State Police (PSP), 25-year-old Austin Heath Snyder, of Ringtown, was involved in a domestic incident involving the victim when the shot was fired.

    The victim was taken to Geisinger Medical Center Danville, where she is listed as being in stable condition.

    Snyder was taken into custody after an investigation was conducted.

    Three other victims are listed by police, including two children, a four-month-old and a three-year-old. Police did not report any other injuries besides the woman who was shot.

    Snyder is being charged with reckless endangerment, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, child endangerment, and other related charges.
