State of the Art Library Coming to Union City
A brand new, state of the art library will replace Union City’s existing library at 43rd Street and New York Avenue. The library is expected to open in 2026. The library will be paid for using grant funding, approximately 73-percent of the cost, and existing surplus on the city’s books. There will be no cost incurred by taxpayers.
