Charlotte’s Web to premiere on Playcrafters’ stage Friday
MOLINE, Ill. (KWQC) -Playcrafters Barn Theatre is proud to present the next production of the 2024 Season, Charlotte’s Web, from July 19 to 28. This family-friendly show is based on E.B. White’s loving story of the friendship between a pig named Wilbur and a little gray spider named Charlotte. AETA Tractor Drive on Friday
Drivers will meet at the AETA showgrounds, 13451 IL-92, Geneseo, at 8 a.m. There will be a driver’s meeting and flag-raising before leaving at 9 a.m. The trek around Henry and Whiteside Counties is approximately 30 miles, with a rest stop at the halfway point. The tractor convoy will return to the showgrounds around 1 p.m.

2024 Monmouth Little Lions League Hands Out Awards at Ceremony at Harmon Park
The 2024 Monmouth Little Lion’s League Baseball season came to an end last night at Harmon Park in Monmouth with the annual Award Ceremony Picnic. A fantastic turnout was treated to a hot dog, chips and a drink. Following the meal, the regular season and tournament champs were recognized. The same team earned both awards in the minor league with Stombaugh Law garnering both trophies. Midwest Bank swept the major league division, as well, winning the regular season and tournament title.
