One taken to hospital after Lincoln dryer fire
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A small fire in northwest Lincoln on Tuesday night sent one person to the hospital. It happened about 9:30 p.m. at the Fairways at Lincoln Apartments near Seventh Street and Fletcher Avenue. The fire was contained to a dryer, according to Lincoln Fire & Rescue.
Shoplifter Arrested in Grand Island

Brief Narrative: Shawn Tufino was identified as the offender in a reported shoplifting at CVS pharmacy. She was identified through video of the incident and can be seen taking the lotto tickets from the counter and hiding them in the basket. Upon being confronted by the cashier she denied having them and left the store once a manager was contacted. She was later located and arrested. Shawn has more than 5 previous convictions for Shoplifting in Nebraska. She was arrested for Shoplifting 3rd plus offense.

In the first game, the Rugs were down to their final strike, but a pair of clutch hits in the 7th inning sparked a 7-6 win.
