Birmingham City Council Passes Gaza Ceasefire Resolution
The Birmingham City Council on Tuesday passed a resolution calling for a ceasefire in Gaza. The 141-square-mile territory has experienced historic levels of civilian deaths since Israel began a military offensive in response to the Oct. 7 Hamas attacks. Alabama A&M places five players on preseason All-SWAC team

(WAFF) - The Alabama A&M University football program placed five members on the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Preseason Teams, the conference announced on Tuesday morning during media day at the Sheraton-Birmingham Hotel. Running back Donovan Eaglin, wide receiver Jacolby Hewitt and defensive back Emari Pait received SWAC Preseason First Team honors, while offensive linemen Carson Vinson and Cameron Williams earned second team recognition.
