Tow truck slams into Lake Elsinore home, requiring crews to rescue driver
A tow truck crashed into a house near Lake Elsinore park today, damaging the structure and leaving the driver trapped until firefighters extracted him. According to Riverside County Fire Department, the accident was reported at 4:33 P.M. in the 29300 block of Breakwater Street, south of Grand Avenue, just across from McVicker Canyon Park.

July 11, 2024 – Riverside County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on Monday, July 8, 2024, at 8:12 p.m., the Blythe Police. Supervisors authorize bid process for two East Hemet street resurfacing projects
The Riverside County Board of Supervisors meeting Tuesday, June 4, included two 5-0 votes to authorize the advertisement of street resurfacing projects in East Hemet for bid.One action authorized the bid process for the Cornell Street resurfacing project while the other motion approved the bid process for the Acacia Avenue resurfacing. The Cornell Street project will resurface 1.6 miles between Crest Drive and Florida Avenue. Acacia Avenue will be resurfaced for 3.6 miles from 200 feet east of San Jacinto Street to 275 feet east of Jared Lane.
