2 injured, 3 homes damaged in multiple July 4th fires in Denver metro area
There was a lot of fire activity on the Fourth of July and overnight into Friday in the Denver metro area. Fire crews responded to dozens of fires, including several house fires and grass fires. South Metro Fire Rescue crews responded to 50 fires between 6 p.m. Thursday and 6 a.m. on Friday. Most of the fires involved grass or mulch and most were caused by fireworks, according to fire investigators. First Responders respond to a fire call in Bushnell that leads to an arrest
Bushnell, Neb. - First responders respond to a residential fire call which leads to the arrest of a man in Bushnell. According to the Kimball County Sheriff's Office (KCSO), dispatched received a call of a residential fire in Bushnell. As first responders responded to the scene, they encountered 48-year-old Travis McDonald. KCSO says in a post that McDonald was tazed and arrested for interfering with a firearm. No further information was given.

1 dead, 4 hospitalized after crash south of Longmont
BOULDER COUNTY, Colo. — One person is dead and four others were hospitalized after a five-car crash near Longmont Friday. Mountain View Fire Rescue posted on social media Friday afternoon that a call came into Boulder County Dispatch that multiple cars were involved in a high-speed, head-on collision on U.S. 287 south of Oxford Road and Longmont. A total of five cars were part of the crash.
