Illinois awarded $430M grant from EPA to reduce climate pollution

Multiple injuries in Springfield shooting Saturday night; investigation ongoing
The Springfield Police Department reports that three people with gunshot wounds were rescued from an incident on South 15th Street on Sunday morning. At approximately 1:04 a.m., Springfield Police officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the 2100 block of South 15th Street. Upon arrival, officers found two males with injuries sustained from gunfire. The victims directed the officers to a nearby house, where they found rifle casings littering the yard.

Nation's Restaurant News reported today that EYM Pizza L.P. has filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in the eastern district of Texas Monday.
