Central City Health (CCH) will host “CCH Dental Days” in August, offering free dental exams and X-rays to the community. The events will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Fridays, August 2, 23, and 30, located at 10 Peterboro St. in Midtown Detroit. This health and wellness initiative is designed to enhance oral health in the community by providing comprehensive dental care to those in need. Dearborn to close stretch of road on weekends to improve pedestrian safety
(CBS DETROIT) - New pedestrian safety measures are being implemented in west Dearborn, including closing vehicle access to a roadway on weekends throughout the summer. The Dearborn City Council approved the new program on Tuesday. Starting Friday, the city will close a portion of West Village Drive between Mason and Monroe streets using modular vehicle barriers. The barriers are funded through the West Dearborn Development Authority, according to a release from the city.
