VALLE CRUCIS — The Valle Crucis Conference Center has announced a new trail leading to Crab Orchard Falls at the Valle Crucis Conference Center. The new trailhead is approximately 50 feet from the existing trailhead, and adds a quarter-mile to the distance between the VCCC main campus and Crab Orchard Falls. Beryl may bring tropical moisture, heavy rain to Tennessee Valley
The Weather Authority team is closely monitoring the track of Beryl, which is now a Tropical Storm in the Gulf of Mexico as of Friday evening. The storm is expected to continue to track northwest toward Texas over the weekend. It will likely strengthen back into a hurricane before making landfall somewhere near Corpus Christi on Monday. Model data has continued to track the storm farther north and a landfall near Corpus Christi is looking more likely.
