Look anywhere in Wetumpka and there is Don Sawyer’s mark — the Hollywood Fish. Almost always on a yellow background, the fish is wearing sunglasses and grinning to the world. United Launch Alliance Expands Decatur, Alabama, Operations
Launch service provider United Launch Alliance expanded its operations in Decatur, Alabama. The $300 million project is expected to create 200 jobs. The investment will increase the company’s rocket assembly facility from 1.9 million square feet to 2.4 million square feet allowing it to roughly double its launch rate.
