CASEY: Blacksburg couple loses $21,000 worth of stored furniture to mold, mildew
On the surface, the case of Ron and Diana Bonofiglio and their mildewed furniture appears to be a simple one. A few years ago, the retired couple sold their large five-bedroom home and rented a small condo while building a smaller house in Blacksburg. For the next two-and-a-half years, they stored many professionally boxed-and-wrapped household belongings in a self-storage business in northern Roanoke County.
